Sue Folkringa Has Been Appointed To FABA Board of Directors
Fort Lauderdale, FL (June 23, 2016) Wolcott & Associates, P.A. is proud to announce that Sue Folkringa, a CPA with the firm, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of FABA, Florida Aviation Business Association.
FABA is a seventy year old member organization comprised of General Aviation related businesses and interested parties, advocating and combining resources on issues impacting aviation in the State of Florida. Sue has been a longstanding member of FABA and is excited to be able to play a more integral role in the organization and hopes to bring a unique perspective to the organization’s issues given her vast experience in aviation tax and accounting issues.
Sue is a Certified Public Accountant and has been Wolcott & Associates, P.A.’s resident “Aviation Taxologist” for over 9 years. She is a licensed pilot, certified ATP, proud owner-pilot of a Piper Comanche aircraft and flies gliders in her spare time. She recently completed her Masters of Taxation from Florida Atlantic University, and also holds a MBA - Accounting and Finance and a BBA - Accounting from Grand Valley State University.
Sue is also a member of NBAA, AOPA, EAA, AIPCA, FICPA, SFBAA and CalCPA and is a frequent presenter at NBAA Tax Conferences, AOPA Summits and other industry events. No stranger to public speaking, Sue also co-presents Wolcott & Associates aviation tax webinars which feature topics that address financial and tax issues relative to aircraft owners, operators, financial and legal professionals.
